Jawarish anareen is helpful in stomach upset and issues related to it. Its name is due to inclusion of both types of Anar (Punica granatum Linn) sweat and sour. It acts as a gastric tonic appetizer and astringent.

Jawarish is a type of Majun. It is semisolid preparation. Word Jawarish is Arabic word made from Gawarish, means digestive. Its consistency is more liquid than Majun. Jawarish is made for digestive system. It acts slowly because its powder is coarser than Majun.
